The FYUGP / FYIMP of Bongaigaon University is as per UGC's Curricular Framework.
Exits and Entries
In the FYUGP / FYIMP one has the choice of multiple entries and exits from the programme. If one exits the programme after one year, one gets a Certificate. If one exits after two years, one gets a Diploma. If one exits after three years, one gets a Bachelor's Degree and finally if a student completes the whole four year, one gets a Bachelor's Degree with Honours.

Students on exit shall be awarded UG Certificate (in the field of study/discipline) after securing requisite 40 credits in Semesters 1 and 2, provided they complete one vocational course or serving as an internship/doing an apprenticeship of 4 credits during the summer vacation of the first year. (Internship/ apprenticeship/ work-based vocational education and training of 120 Hours).
*SEC-1 and SEC-2 Should be Major Oriented / to supplement the Major Course.
